Maia Panos was born and raised in Berkeley, California. Her backyard was a menagerie. She has a four-year old daughter, Sophia. Her work has been shown at the Rae Douglass Gallery (formerly the Giorgi Gallery), the Art @the Oakbook Gallery, the Kahbang Festival, Rick and Ann’s Restaurant, the Orange County Center for Contemporary Art, and the Arty Gallery in Los Angeles.
